“All this attention is a bit over the top, I think,” he told the Daily Telegraph.
“I’ve seen the TikTok video that was made about me and I can’t believe people think I’m important enough to do something like that.”
The star’s follower count on Instagram skyrocketed after Channel Seven unveiled him as one of the peasants looking for love, going from a few hundred followers to over 10,000 overnight.
“I don’t really think I’m anything special or extraordinary,” he added. “I think it’s a huge overreaction, there are a lot of guys who were prettier than me, that’s for sure.”

It comes after Sam Armytage was revealed as a guest on the show, alongside host Natalie Gruzlewski, following his dramatic departure from Sunrise.
The 45-year-old former breakfast star was seen in another trailer with her wedding ring on display as she talked about helping single lovers find a match.

Meanwhile, a 28-year-old farmer named Paige, also from New South Wales, has her eyes set on the search for love as well.

The novels seem to heat up this season when a trailer saw a number of peasants smile and laugh after meeting their suitors.
