Some costly mistakes ruined another Cameron Munster masterclass, Xavier Coates scored a brilliant hat-trick, and Harry Grant did everything he could in a losing team.

The Storm had its moments, but ultimately failed to lose 28-20 to be eliminated from the finals.

6. CAMERON MUNSTER – 8

Lack of contrast for the first try of the Raiders after a monstrous defense by Matthew Timoko. He returned to appear in Storm’s first attempt for Coates. He had 86 meters of running in the first half. He had two touches to set up a brilliant long-range try for Coates’ third. He missed a decisive penalty that would have blocked the scores. I had a horror rebound to give Young a late decisive try. Finished with 187 meters.

2. DAVID NOFOALUMA – 7

He made an early mistake, but made up for it with some solid charges to get the Storm out of their red zone. Part of the missed tackle that led to Fogarty’s goal. Finished the first 40 with 51 meters of running on six tracks. Finished with 88 meters.

3. MARION SEVE – 8

Prepare the first attempt for the Storm with a class assist. He struggled to get involved with his running game early. He only ran eight meters in the first half but had a linebreak assist and a try assist to go with nine tackles. he helped set Coates’ third try with a break on the right edge. He ran 117 meters.

4. JUSTIN OLAM – 7

He came close to scoring a try in the first half after chasing a Grant kick. he did a bad reading in defense ahead of Fogarty’s try. He ran 54 meters in the first verse. He ran for 100 meters.

5. XAVIER COATS – 10

It produced a brilliant ending to mark Storm’s first half of the night. He made the first half a double jump on a perfect kick from Hughes. He closes the first half with 32 meters of running and a class double. He sealed a brilliant hat-trick after finishing a long-range stunner. Finished with 70 meters.

1. NICK MEANEY – 6

He missed an opportunity to score Storm’s first try with a maneuvering error on the goal line before losing his first two conversions. He was targeted in defense by the Raiders, fending off two tackles that led to goals for Canberra. He only made five meters of running in the first half, but was solid with his passing game as a facilitator and liaison man. Finished with 56 meters and five missed tackles.

7. JAHROME HUGHES – 7

His running match started early with no signs of his calf injury. She produced a brilliant pass that led to a goal assisted by Marion Seve. The next set produced a brilliant cross kick for Coates that scored her brace. She ran 66 meters and made an assisted try in the first half. Featured in the movement for Coates’ third attempt. He went out early in the second half for an HIA, but he had several injuries. He had 81 meters of running and an assisted try.

8. JESSE BROMWICH – 8

Solid first half with excellent positions and good defense. He had 78 meters of running and 12 flawless tackles in the first 40. Finished with 100 meters.

9. HARRY GRANT – 9

He made an unusual early mistake but looked dangerous every time he touched the ball. He came close to setting up a try with an accurate kick to Olam that was beaten to death. He helped create space for the second attempt at the Storm with a dummy half dart. He ran 35 meters from the end with 14 tackles in the first half. He sets the goal for Asofa-Solomona to take Storm ahead. Finished with 75 meters and 37 tackles.

15. TUI KAMIKAMICA – 7

He was brought up early in support and set the platform up with some strong charges and was perfect defensive early on. He had 48 simple runs and a team of 21 tackles in the first half. He finished with 61 meters and 39 tackles.

10. NELSON ASOFA-SOLOMONA – 9

Get out of the blocks with some brutal charges to get the Storm early ahead. He hit the most meters of any Storm striker in the first half with 80. Loaded from close range to give Storm the lead in the second half. Finished with 159 meters, eight tackle bust and a try.

12. KENNEATH BROMWICH – 6

He missed a couple of tackles early but was solid with the ball in hand and nearly set up a try with a kick that shows his versatility. He went out at halftime for an HIA. He ran 46 meters and 11 tackles before breaking away. He ran 66 meters from the end with 24 tackles but missed 6.

14. BRANDON SMITH – 8

Taken on the starting side to the block and made a quick start and early impact. He had 50 meters of running, three tackling failures and 14 tackling in the first half. he had 70 meters of running and 26 tackles.

11. FELISE KAUFUSI – 6

Entering the field at half-time, he delivered a penalty that led to Elliott Whitehead’s try. They only managed six tackles and no running meters in the first verse. He only had 37 meters and 17 tackles.

13. JOSH RE – 7

He entered the field at halftime but could only watch as his team was forced to defend. Zero meters of running and only three tackles in the first half. he had 44 meters and 23 tackles.

16. TRENT LOIERO – 6

Limited chances of finishing with a 32-meter run.

17. CHRIS LEWIS – 5

He was only 22 meters from two runs in minutes.
