Joseph Tapine ended his brilliant season with one of the best final performances of a prop, Jack Wighton was at his best, while Xavier Savage struggled.
The Raiders continued their brilliant charge in the second half of the year to win through to the semifinals with a 28-20 win.

1. XAVIER SAVAGE – 5
He struggled to get involved and made an early mistake. Only three descents and 24 meters in the first half. He arranges a goal with a hawk to seal the victory. Closed with 75 meters after an improved second time.
2. NICK COTRIC – 6
He produced a saved play in the first half to deny Justin Olam. He scored 32 meters and five tackles in the first half. He finished with 58 meters.
3. MATTEO TIMOKO – 8
He produced a brilliant save on Cameron Munster to score the first try of the evening. But he also made a mistake and went out for a HIA in the first half but was cleared to return. He closes the first half with 53 linear meters. He finished with 84 meters and 10 tackles at the end of his try.
4. SEBASTIAN KRIS – 6
He made two early mistakes. He tried to stop Coates from scoring but was left with too much to do from Rapana. He ran just 23 meters in the first half, but nine tackles without errors. He had 64 meters but two mistakes and two wrong tackles in a mixed bag.
5. JORDAN RAPANA – 8
He rushed out of his wing to allow Coates to score for a corner with little defensive play. He made a 32-meter run from four races in the first half. He scores the game by sealing a try on Savage’s headed assist. Finished with 90 meters.
6. JACK WIGHTON – 9
He makes the opening break and prepares the opening try for Matthew Timoko. He closes the first half with 52 linear meters, a linebreak and an assisted try. He sets up a brilliant Hudson Young attempt with a neat grubber. Passing him came out of Savage’s head to set the seal of the match for Rapana. He had 66 meters, two assists and a linebreak.
7. JAMAL FOGARTY – 7
He struggled to get into the game in the first half but was solid with his kicking game. he opened the game with a brilliant solo try in the 32nd minute. he had 13 meters of running, a linebreak and a try in the first 40. Finished with 42 meters of running, four tackling fouls and a try.
8. JOSH PAPALII – 9
He led from the front with some strong positions and did a lot of tackling to set the tone for his defending team. he had 38 meters and 16 tackles without errors in the first period. Finished with 167 meters and eight tackle bust to go with 23 tackles without fail.
9. ZAC WOOLFORD – 6
He struggled to get his running game started early but was solid defensive. He jumped out of the fictional half to make room for Whitehead’s goal. He made 13 tackles without errors in the first half. He only had two meters of running, but 20 tackles without making a mistake.
10. GIUSEPPE TAPINE – 10
Prepare for Jack Wighton’s break that led to the first attempt. He got the most meters from any raider in the first half. Superb pass by a big man to field Whitehead from close range. He produced a brilliant tackle on Smith to force a turnover, before arranging another break for Whitehead in a superb first-half performance. He ran 126 meters in the first half, the maximum for any team. He had three linebreak assists in the first half alone. He finished with a 209-meter high match, three linebreak assists, one assist try and 28 tackles without errors.
11. YOUNG HUDSON – 8
Limited touches in the first half, but he did a lot of quality work in defense. He produced an excellent kick to force a restart towards the end of the first half. He 43 run meters and 11 tackles in the first 40. He scores a splendid try to give the Raiders the lead with 14 minutes left. He had 72 meters and 26 tackles.
12. ELLIOTT WHITEHEAD – 7
He struggled to get into play with the ball in hand, but made a mountain of defense in the first verse. Charged for a brilliant solo attempt to extend the Raiders lead before half-time. 51 meters of running and 18 tackles at the end of his goal in the first half. He had 75 meters and two line breaks.
13. ADAM ELLIOTT – 6
He looked solid in defense with 19 tackles and ran 33 meters, before exiting the pitch with a hip injury and not returning.
14. TOM STARLING – 6
He entered the field in the second half and had limited opportunities. Finished with 25 meters and 15 tackles.
15. EMRE GULER – 7
Limited opportunities in the first half, but of great impact with the ball in hand. He had 40 meters from six first-half runs. He had 60 meters of running and 11 tackles at the finish line.
16. COREY HORSBURGH – 8
He enters the field at the end of the first half and hits immediately. Finished the first 40 with 53 meters over seven heats. A whopping 104-meter run from the bench to go with 19 tackles.
17. COREY HARAWIRA-NAERA – 6
He did a lot of defensive work off the bench in the first half but struggled to get his hands on the ball. Finished with 50 meters of running, three exhausts and 10 tackles.
